  5. 5 medium boiled potatoes
  6. 3-4 chopped onions
  7. 2-3 chopped carrot
  8. 5-6 chopped capsicum
  9. 5 medium sized chopped tomatoes
  10. handful French beans
  11. 1/2 cabbage(chopped)
  12. 3 tsp Fresh coriander leaves
  13. 1/2 cup boiled peas
  14. Masala
  15. 1 tsp dhania (coriander)powder
  16. 3/4 tsp red Chilli powderq
  17. 1/8 tsp Garam masala
  18. 2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  19. to taste Salt
  20. 2-3 tbsp butter
  21. 1 pinch red food colour(Optional)

Steps to make to make Pav Bhaji

  1. First take the veggies like - Carrot, capsicum, peas, cabbage, French beans. Put them in pressure cooker and boil with around 3/4 cup water.
  2. After boiling it for 15 mins. Remove all pressure from cooker and open lid. Mash all veggies well with a masher.
  3. Gradually add the boiled potatoes and keep on mashing. If required add some more water. It's consistancy should be like below pics.
  4. Now in a pan take some butter melt it and add some garlic to it. Now add the chopped onion and stir fry until it caramelize.
  5. Now add the chopped tomatoes. Let that cook at medium high flame.
  6. Now add dhania powder, red Chilli powder, garam masala, pav bhaji masala and stir well.
  7. Now add all the mashed vegetables along with the water. Mash it more if you see lumps of potatoes or any other veggies.
  8. Add the salt as per your taste and let that cook at low flame for 10-15 mins.
  9. After 15 mins pav bhaji is ready. Add some red food color. That is completely optional.
  10. Also add 2-3 tbsp butter. Mix that well and cook for another 5 mins.
  11. Bhaji is ready. Now for making pav you can follow my recepie of ladi pav.
  12. Take a pan add butter to it. Add red Chilli powder and pav bhaji masala and coriander leaves. Over that butter roast you pav.
  13. Garnish your bhaji with more butter Add onion, lemon on top of it. Delicious Pav bhaji is ready.
