- Add freshly pound ginger and garlic (else use ginger garlic paste)
- Saute till transparent
- Add vegetable:- beans, carrot and green peas (or vegetable of your choice). Mix well
- Add chopped tomato, chilli, turmeric powder, salt.mix well
- Add rinsed rice and dal for 1/2 cup rice and 1/2 cup dal,add2.5 cups of water
- Close and pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles
- Serve hot with cucumber raita or pickle
