- Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes.

- Now add soaked rice (without water), fried onion, saffron milk and ghee. Mix them. Add 1 cup water and salt to taste. Mix them. Close with lid and cook until 2 whistles. Yummy and quick veg biryani is ready to serve.
