- 1/2 Cabbage
- 8-10 French beans
- 1/2 Capsicum
- 1 Carrot
- 1 small beetroot
- 1 onion
- 1 inch ginger
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- as required Green chilli to taste
- as required Some Coriander leaves
- 3 tbsp cornflour or All-purpose flour or more as required
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1/2 tsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp refined oil
Instructions to make to make Non-Fried Veg Manchurian
- Finely chopped all the vegetables with the help of food processor. In a big bowl mix all vegetables together and keep 1/4cup of it aside for gravy. Then squeeze juice from the vegetables as much as possible and save the juice for gravy.
- Further, add maida/ cornflour, sal and 1/2tsp black pepper powder and mix well. Form a soft dough adding maida if required. prepare a small ball sized balls.
- Heat Appam pan and greased all he cavity with oil. Place Manchurian balls in each cavity and cook until it turn golden and crispy from all sides. Keep the flame on low-medium.
- For gravy heat oil in a kadhai add chilli and chopped vegetables that we save earlier. Stir and cook till raw smells goes from vegetable. Keep the flame on medium-high. Further add 1-2tbsp maida, black pepper powder, stir continuously and cook for 2 minutes or till it releasing oil. Add soya sauce, tomato ketchup and vinegar, mix well.
- Further add 3/4cup water mix well well forming a lump-free slurry. Adjust salt, cover and continue to boil for 4-5 min or until the gravy thickens and turns glossy. Manchurian balls and gravy is ready.
- Add Manchurian ball in gravy just before serving. Serve hot with noodles or many more. Enjoy
